I’m Sarah, I’m married to a guy I adore and we have three little boys - Alex is 7, Jack is 4, and Henry is 2. We live in Arlington Virginia right outside of Washington DC. When I’m not taking care of my wild boys or making a mess in my kitchen, I have a positive psychology consulting and coaching practice where I work with clients to help build their psychological resilience and leadership skills. I have a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. Here’s what you’ll find on my page - easy yet elevated recipes, sourdough tips and tricks (check out __________ Sourdough School saved in my highlights!), lots of grazing boards, fun seasonal content, and bit of family life and positive psychology sprinkled in here and there too. I started __________ because I want to share what I love and what inspires me, and I’m a firm believer that cooking really good food at home and hosting friends and family doesn’t have to be complicated or take hours of work. While some of the things I post take longer than 30 minutes from start to finish (e.g. sourdough bread, slow cooks or roasts, cakes and pies, etc.), the total effort is usually less. My philosophy? Cook seasonal and local as much as possible, keep it simple and highlight quality ingredients, get creative and try new things, and when in doubt add a little flake salt or butter.
